Job Description

PRIMARY FUNCTION: EHR Clinical Application Analysts are the primary support for the assigned clinical application(s). They must be very knowledgeable about the organization's policies, procedures, and business operations and coordinate all issues that arise during installation, maintenance, trouble-shooting, and upgrading for their application area.

Essential Functions

• Performs standard of care and research Beacon Treatment/Therapy Plan build and maintenance to support enterprise workflows
• Performs in-depth analysis of Oncology Infusion, Non-Oncology Infusion, Radiation Oncology and Research workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with application software and prepares troubleshooting details, as needed
• Work with operational areas and other technical teams to develop content and documentation tools for implementing systems changes and other tasks and provides input for training materials
• Support regular Epic system upgrades by working with Oncology Infusion, Non-Oncology Infusion, Radiation Oncology and Research operational areas and other technical teams to implement validated build and complete associated testing
• Assists in evaluation of operational needs; validates workflows, build, and configuration based on application requirements/ standards and serves as liaison between end users, third parties, and application staff

• Developing / documenting procedures for implementing system changes and other tasks
• Serving as a liaison between end users, third parties, and vendors
• Troubleshooting problems and questions from end users
• Analysis of application content and negotiation of any user requested modifications
