Job summary

The University of Rochester is seeking an EHR Application Analyst II to join the ISD Revenue Cycle team. This full-time role focuses on configuring the EHR to improve clinical workflows, standardize processes and enhance patient care.

Responsibilities include designing integrated Professional Billing Claims workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams, supporting system upgrades, and building reports. EPIC certification within 1 year is required; prior billing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related discipline and 2 years of Professional Billing Claims experience required.
• Or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs in-depth analysis and designs integrated workflows for Professional Billing Claims.
• Collaborates to resolve system issues related to Professional Billing Claims and communicates risk implications.
• Reviews enhancements and implements changes to the Professional Billing system.
• Defines Professional Billing processes that cross applications and functional areas.
• Participates in upgrade processes and coordinates project activities; builds reports and tests work.
• Maintains standards for system build, naming conventions, security classifications, and change control.
• Builds relationships and communicates with stakeholders and physician practices.
• Performs tasks maintaining foundational EHR components with limited guidance.
• Other duties as assigned.
