Job summary

EthosEnergy is recruiting for an EH&S Specialist for the Brazos Valley Energy Center, a GE 7FA combined cycle plant located in Richmond, TX. This position reports to the Facility Manager on site and focuses on coordinating and supporting Health, Safety and Environmental plans, policies, procedures, and compliance programs.

Essential responsibilities include providing direction to management with EH&S planning and program development to improve performance along with regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Industrial EH&S experience (5+ years)
• Experience implementing EHS management systems
• Track record implementing HSE policies and procedures
• Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions
• Experience in audit teams
• Experience conducting training for end users

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage implementation of HSE policies and procedures
• Conduct reviews of programs to meet regulations and corporate directives
• Manage environmental and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations
• Submit monthly, quarterly, and annual environmental reporting
• Train employees on plans such as emergency response and spill prevention
• Coordinate and/or perform required environmental reporting and testing
