Job summary

Dow Chemical Company is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for our Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada. You will lead EH&S programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive safety and environmental performance across the plant.

You will coach teams, monitor industrial hygiene, and support the Path2Zero initiative as part of our decarbonization goals. This role demands practical, hands-on leadership and a track record of continuous improvement in EH&S.

Responsibilities

• Acts as SME for EH&S policies and provides guidance to plant personnel.
• Serves as primary contact for EH&S-related concerns in the plant.
• Educates and coaches teams on EH&S best practices.
• Assists in setting and meeting EH&S targets at plant/department level.
• Verifies completion of regulatory and compliance tasks.
• Conducts environmental and industrial hygiene monitoring, data gathering, interpretation, and reporting.
