Job summary

Dow is seeking a Senior Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for our Fort Saskatchewan site in Alberta, Canada. You will lead the EH&S management system, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance environmental protection, industrial hygiene, and workplace safety across the plant.

You will serve as an SME for EH&S policies, coach teams, and support Dow’s Path2Zero initiative as part of the company decarbonization strategy, focusing on targets and safe operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in EH&S, OH&S, or a closely related field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Authorized to work in Canada (visa sponsorship not provided).

Responsibilities

• Implements EH&S procedures and work processes aligned with safety and environmental standards.
• Maintains compliance with operating discipline by reinforcing environmental, industrial hygiene, and safety measures.
• Acts as a subject matter expert for EH&S policies and guides plant personnel.
