Job summary

Gables Search Group is seeking an EH&S Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives at a multi-building aluminum foundry. You will report to the Plant Manager and collaborate with leaders to drive a safer workplace and continuous EH&S improvement.

The role emphasizes hazard identification, compliant reporting, and strong safety culture across operations. Foundry exposure is a plus, with relocation support offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Foundry experience is a plus.
• Degree preferred, but not required.

Looking for an opportunity where your EH&S expertise can make a real impact? Our client is looking for an EH&S Manager to take the lead on safety and environmental initiatives at its 36-acre, five-building aluminum foundry complex.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you’ll work closely with employees and leaders across the operation to create a safer workplace, strengthen compliance, and continuously improve EH&S practices.

What You’ll Do

• Identify and address workplace hazards and recommend improvements
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
• Conduct safety inspections and ensure OSHA and environmental compliance
• Manage regulatory reporting, record keeping, and SDS documentation
• Maintain emergency response plans
• Lead safety training, including new-hire orientation
• Partner with all areas of the business to build a strong safety culture

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of EH&S experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
• Foundry experience is a plus
• Degree preferred, but not required
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Understanding of manufacturing and production processes
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Ability to operate mobile and stationary equipment
