Phillips Medisize in Wisconsin is seeking Environmental Health & Safety interns for Summer 2027 across Wisconsin locations. The 12-week program runs from late May to mid-August 2026 and provides on-the-job training with mentorship in a manufacturing setting.

You will participate in on-site safety activities, support injury prevention and environmental programs, and assist with incident investigations, safety audits, and procedure writing in a collaborative, in-person environment.

Formación

• Enrolled in an Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Stewardship, Risk Control, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering related degree program.
• Eligible for full time employment on or before Summer 2029.
• Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Involvement with on-site safety committee activities, gaining exposure to lockout-tagout, machine guarding, assisting with on-site hazardous waste program.
• Maintain/update injury prevention plan & workplace violence prevention plan.
• Assist with overall environmental functions for the assigned facility and partners with onsite management and other resources to ensure local program ownership and accountability.
• Provide support of safety initiatives at a designated facility with guidance from local safety, health and environmental management/personnel. To include (but not limited to): Incident investigations and reporting, Safety audits, Process and/or procedure writing.
