Job summary

RTX in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking an Analyst, EH&S Generalist to design, develop, implement and oversee EH&S programs ensuring compliance with corporate and regulatory requirements. The role reports to the Regional EH&S Director and includes audits, rule development input, and cross‑functional collaboration onsite.

The position supports environmental, health, and safety initiatives, with opportunities for professional growth in H&S or Environmental tracks, and travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• 1 year experience in Environmental or Health or Safety in a manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Implements initiatives that drive continuous improvement in company and regulatory EH&S programs
• Collaborates with site employees to define controls for EHS programs
• Assesses EHS impacts and supports/develops/implements programs to reduce risk and ensure compliance
• Manages environmental permits and reporting criteria
• Supports EH&S team in managing hazardous waste, stormwater, and security protocols
• Establishes and tracks plans to achieve and maintain compliance and to reduce risk
• Creates and provides effective training to different levels of the organization
• Travel up to 5% of the time
