Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an Analyst, EH&S Generalist to design, develop, implement and oversee EH&S programs. You will ensure compliance with policies and regulations and report to the Regional EH&S Director.

This onsite role is based in Sante Fe Springs, CA, with opportunities to support audits and improve safety across the facility. The successful candidate will have a university degree or equivalent in a related field, 1 year of EH&S experience in manufacturing, and may have aerospace

• University degree or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 1 year experience in Environmental or Health or Safety in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading projects or major initiatives is a plus.
• Lean manufacturing experience (Kaizen, Six Sigma) is preferred.
• Aerospace experience is a plus.

Collins Aerospace is looking for an Analyst, EH&S Generalist to join our team in Sante Fe Springs, California. In this role you will design, develop, implement and oversee the organization’s Environment Health and Safety (EH&S) programs and procedures to safeguard our employees and the environment. You will ensure that the organization is compliant with all corporate and city/state/federal policies and regulations applicable to EH&S. This role will report directly to the Regional EH&S Director.

A successful candidate will prepare for and host internal and regulatory audits, monitor upcoming proposed regulations and ensure rules are developed to accommodate facility manufacturing needs and provide input to rule development process. Position will assist in all areas of environmental, health, and safety as needed and develop expertise in the EH&S function.

This position works onsite in Sante Fe Springs, CA

What You Will Do

• Implements initiatives that drive continuous improvement in company and regulatory EH&S programs
• Professional tracks are available with a focus in H&S or Environmental with a focus on air compliance, or a combination of all EH&S programs, with sustainability and security management aspects of the role possible.
• Conducts in-depth analysis (audits, inspections, GEMBAs) of the business for opportunities to determine compliance.
• Collaborates with site employees to define controls for EHS programs.
• Assesses EHS impacts and supports/develops/implements programs to reduce risk as well as achieve and maintain compliance.
• Manages environmental permits and reporting criteria.
• Support the EH&S team in managing hazardous waste, stormwater compliance, and security protocols.
• Establishes and tracks plans to achieve and maintain compliance and to reduce risk.
• Supports business partners' facilities and employee practices to achieve and maintain understanding and compliance with EH&S regulations.
• Creates and provides effective training to different levels of the organization.
• Must be willing and able to travel up to 5% of the time

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field
• 1 year experience in Environmental or Health or Safety in a manufacturing environment

The salary range for this role is 75,800 USD - 144,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
