Job summary

RTX is hiring an Environmental, Health and Safety Professional for its Midland location. This onsite role focuses on formulating EH&S plans, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and supporting the RTX EHS Management system.

Strong data tracking and policy organization are required. The candidate will collaborate with site leadership, perform inspections, educate staff, and drive safety improvements across PW and RTX programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or related field with minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and administer EH&S plans and procedures including EH&S Program Management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with Federal, State and Local regulations and RTX/EHS standards.
• Identify health and safety hazards and implement controls to mitigate risks.
• Track implementation of EH&S initiatives across the organization.
• Organize and maintain EH&S policies to achieve compliance.
• Conduct safety inspections and audits to drive corrective actions and safe practices.

Education

Bachelors Degree in Environmental Sciences, Engineering, or other Sciences or equivalent experience
