Job summary

Michael Foods, Inc. in Britt, Iowa is seeking a motivated Edible/Inedible Tanker Bay Person to operate in our egg processing facility.

You will coordinate tanker cleanings, document shipments, and ensure compliance with USDA, GMP, HACCP and SQF standards while maintaining safety. Responsibilities span from transferring liquid egg to proper silos, inspecting tankers, and supporting the transfer room as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos and reports.
• Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Ability to work well with others and follow GMP and HACCP guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with USDA all tanker cleaning and transfers of liquid egg for shipment.
• Check accompanying paperwork and document on logs with required details.
• Inspect tankers for cleanliness, temperature and odor and take corrective action as needed.
• Take lab samples and ensure proper product flow to silos or tanks.
• Follow safety rules and uphold SQF Level 3 compliance; assist in other transferring room duties.
