You will monitor tanks, assist in trailers, and coordinate shipments while maintaining sanitary conditions and product quality across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Strong reading and writing skills with good communication.
• Knowledge of GMPs and HACCP guidelines is preferred.
• PIT certification and Driver’s license are required.
• Approximately 1 year in Breaking Department with tanker bay cross-training.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in variable environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with USDA for tanker cleaning and transfers of liquid egg.
• Document on the Tanker Receiving Log with receipt details and lot data.
• Inspect incoming tankers for cleanliness and condition; take corrective action as needed.
• Take lab samples and test as required.
• Control egg flow using computer panels and piping in silo areas.
• Set up transfers and unload product to silos or tanks.
• Ensure CIP system cleans empty tanks and tankers.
• Communicate transfers with Cooked Department and mix liquids.
• Assist in coordinating tanker shipments and regulate chemical bulk receiving.
• Maintain general area housekeeping and safety practices.
