Job summary

Versova, one of the largest egg producers in the United States, seeks a Breaking Machine Loader for its Sioux Center facility. You will load flats onto the breaking belt, remove empty flats, salvage eggs, and maintain a clean, safe work area in a fast-paced environment.

This role emphasizes strict adherence to USDA regulations, safety protocols, and teamwork. Prior experience is helpful, and cross-training may be required as part of rotating duties.

Qualifications

• 0-1+ years in a manufacturing or processing environment.
• Ability to operate a pallet jack.
• Basic math skills for counting and measuring.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and quality consciousness.
• Basic understanding of safety procedures in a food processing environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Time management skills to maintain production pace.

Responsibilities

• Load flats of eggs onto the breaking belt with minimal jams.
• Remove empty flats from the belt after eggs have been loaded into the breaking machine.
• Salvage any eggs left on the flats.
• Maintain a clean breaking area floor by removing eggs and washing according to company specifications.
• Participate in cross-training and position rotation as required.
• Comply with USDA regulations, industry best manufacturing practices, and the Food Defense Program.
• Other duties as assigned
