Job summary

Cooper Farms is hiring a 1st shift Egg Packer/Stacker to join the Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg, Ohio. The starting rate is $17.50 per hour with potential to increase to $17.70 after 90 days.

Shift hours run Sunday through Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm, with an option for a fifth day on Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm. Additional pay includes monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses based on company performance.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Ability to be on feet for prolonged periods of time.
• Factory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pack cartons and flats of eggs in proper packaging material.
• Ensure case labels match carton/sleeve type and code date and attach labels to packed cases when applicable.
• Communicate any variance of carton dates or labels to the Packer Operator or Processing Floor Lead.

Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 1 st shift Egg Packer/Stacker to join our Spring Meadow Farms team in Rossburg.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday through Wednesday 6:00am-4:30pm with an option 5th day of Thursday 6:00am-4:30pm.

STARTING HOURLY RATE : $17.50 with the potential of increasing to $17.70 after 90 days.

ADDITIONAL PAY: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

All training will be provided for this entry level position. Job functions include:

• Packing cartons and flats of eggs in proper packaging material.
