Qualifications

• No prior experience or training required.
• Ability to read and recognize basic words and simple numerical sequences.
• Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and multiply and divide using tens and hundreds.
• Ability to perform basic calculations using units of money, weight, volume, and distance.
• Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with routine problems involving one variable in standardized situations.
• Ability to safely lift and move empty skids weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to obtain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and healthy workplace by following safety policies and procedures.
• Adhere to GMPs and maintain sanitary conditions to ensure product quality.
• Continuously supply optiloader conveyors with flats of shell eggs, lifting up to six flats at a time.
• Remove and stack dividers or skid sheets from between flats of eggs.
• Remove and stack empty skids and flats in designated areas.
• Supply candlers with flats of fill-in eggs as needed.
• Monitor the optiloader machine and clear jams when necessary.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and maintain SQF certification.
• Communicate professionally with customers, co-workers, and management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
