Job summary

Pilgrim’s in California is seeking an Egg Processing Operator to support daily production on the hatchery line. You will pull eggs from incubators, load into buggies, and move materials to transfer tables in a warm, wet environment.

The role requires good hand-eye coordination and the ability to read numbers and colors. Training will cover Zoetis certification and safety equipment usage; long hours standing and physical tasks are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform repetitive tasks with accuracy.
• Ability to read numbers and distinguish colors.

Responsibilities

• Pull eggs from incubators and load into buggies.
• Load eggs onto transfer table.
• Complete QC cycles and checks.
• Stack egg baskets and load into hatcher.
• Clean setter floors, hallway floors and hatch halls.
• Back up egg setters and ensure smooth operation.
• Clean transfer tables and surrounding areas.
• Discard eggs from egg remover into vacuum system daily.
• Organize setter halls and egg rooms.
