Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Hatchery Associate for the 2nd shift at our North Carolina - Dobson Hatchery. Primary duties include transferring eggs from egg buggies to setter machines and maintaining PPE usage in accordance with NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines and all applicable policies and regulations.

You will perform machine checks, clean and sanitize equipment, and assist with safe, efficient hatchery operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work unsupervised and self-motivate.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and extended shift hours.
• Sound work ethic, honesty and moral character.

Responsibilities

• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
• Follow department safety policies and company policies.
