Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC Laurel Hatchery is seeking a Transfer Associate to efficiently move eggs from buggies to setter machines and to uphold strict safety and sanitation standards. The role requires ability to work nights, weekends, and extended shifts, with adherence to NCC Animal Welfare Guidelines.

Primary duties include machine checks, egg transfer, buggie handling, and environmental cleaning. High school diploma or equivalent is required; hatchery experience is a plus and basic math skills are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Hatchery or poultry industry experience preferred.
• Basic math skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine checks.
• Transfer eggs from buggies into setter machines.
• Pull and push egg buggies.
• Clean and sanitize machines, floors, drains, baskets, buggies, etc.
• Comply with company policies and safety guidelines.
• All other duties as assigned.
