Job summary

Tuskegee University is seeking an EFNEP Administrative/Program Assistant who will provide vital administrative support across nine counties. The role involves managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective communication among team members. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in administration.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to automobile for travel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to EFNEP.
  • Draft, review, and edit correspondence and data reports.
  • Maintain organized records and filing systems.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements for staff.
  • Attend meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
  • Serve as point of contact for data communications.
  • Assist in developing presentations and reports.
  • Track deadlines and deliverables for project management.
  • Familiarize with the EFNEP WebNeers data system.

Skills

Knowledge in working with diverse community stakeholders
Knowledge of science and evidence-based food activities
Working knowledge of various computer software, such as Microsoft Office
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to prepare and analyze data and figures

Education

Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field
Minimum of four years of administrative experience
