Job summary

Aerotek in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Picker and Packer for a contract-to-hire role at our distribution center. The position requires on-site work in a newer facility with emphasis on accuracy and efficient packing processes.

The role includes tagging, box opening, loading, and staging orders for packing and shipping, with pay between $16.00/hr and a comprehensive benefits package after eligibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in picking and packing items.
• Experience in tagging or ticketing items or products.
• Proficiency with RF Scanner.
• Knowledge of warehouse packing, production, and pick/pack processes.

Responsibilities

• Tag items with stickers and check boxes and products for shipping.
• Tape boxes or use a box cutter to open boxes.
• Utilize pick tickets and order sheets to ensure accuracy.
• Perform basic shipping, receiving, unloading, scanning, moving, staging, loading, locating, relocating, and stacking of products.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and stage orders for packing or shipping.
