Job summary

RRD is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist with filling and packaging orders, maintaining inventory, and supporting training efforts. You will operate warehouse software, label and prepare shipments, and help ensure on-time delivery per schedule.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in a warehouse setting, good reading and communication skills, and basic packing and arithmetic abilities. Flexible scheduling and safety adherence are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ year of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment required.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret job specifications and identifying the correct parts for fulfilling customer orders.
• Must have very good oral and written communication skills sufficient to explain departmental procedures.
• Basic knowledge of routine packing procedures, techniques, equipment and general warehouse procedures.
• Able to stock, move, arrange, and rotate items in accordance with operating instructions.
• Able to complete appropriate forms relating to stock description, quantity, unit of issue, and the labeling requirements for incoming and outgoing materials.
• Skill in assembling standard shipping boxes and packing contents securely.
• Basic arithmetic to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Must be willing to flex schedule to meet production needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with filling and/or packaging orders from the warehouse for shipment.
• Maintain warehouse and inventory of products and customer materials.
• Operate computers and relevant warehouse management software.
• Label, box, and pallet shipments per schedule and procedures.
• Meet established productivity and quality standards.
• Identify potential issues and involve leadership to resolve them.
• Participate in training and development of staff and temporary labor.
• Count and sort product items.
