Job summary

Dollar General distribution center team member sought to ensure accurate handling of merchandise and efficient movement throughout the facility. Responsibilities include receiving, auditing, labeling, palletizing, and replenishing stock while supporting all warehouse areas as needed.

Candidate should be able to operate radio frequency devices, learn WMS tools, and assist in loading shipments while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in automated distribution centers preferred.
• Ability to learn basic warehouse systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Move incoming or outgoing merchandise throughout the distribution center by hand, hand truck, or forklift.
• Check, verify and audit merchandise to ensure correct receipt and condition; enter data into terminal.
• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise onto flats.
• Replenish pick areas as needed and fulfill store orders from pick slots to conveyors.
• Load outgoing merchandise into trailers and report damages or vendor issues to supervisor.
• Collaborate with supervisor to resolve discrepancies; meet safety, productivity, and quality standards.
