Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Shipping Associate to pick, prepare, and ship outgoing freight on time, in full, and error free within a teamwork environment. You may lift up to 51 pounds and operate a forklift and pallet jack as needed.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills, and warehousing experience. You will prepare shipping documents, coordinate with carriers, and ensure compliance with ISO 9001; employment is contingent on a physical and drug test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; computer experience preferred; experience in shipping, receiving, and/or warehousing.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information clearly.
• Ability to operate as part of a team and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products from specified lines per the order pick list.
• Palletize items and prepare for shipment, using tools such as a crimper if needed.
• Double-check orders by reviewing the pick list and items on pallets.
• Prepare shipping documents and coordinate with carriers as directed.
• Email, fax, and call truck lines for outbound shipments; weigh and label packages.
