Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or GED is required.
• Warehouse experience and route delivery experience.
• Clean MVR
• No Reckless Driving history based on State Specific Guidelines - No DUI
• OSHA Forklift and HAZMAT certification a plus
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds constantly; 100 pounds frequently; 175 pounds occasionally
• Must be able to meet deadlines with tight scheduling requirements
• Must be available to work any shift and overtime
• Must be willing to be certified in forklift and other machinery if applicable
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a medical Department of Transportation certification card (DOT)

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, trailers, containers of freight; report shortages, damages, and mis-shipments; sign inbound shipments when necessary.
• Pick orders with correct product numbers, quantities, and lot/serial data; label and palletize as required.
• Outbound: verify quantity, labeling, dating and address; arrange shipments and sign as needed.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely; comply with OSHA standards.
• Keep accurate inventory records; assist in physical inventory and cycle counts.
• Repack or re-box cases; repair and consolidate damaged goods; operate shrink-wrap machines.
• Build crates, skids, and decks; package ocean shipping containers per IMO rules.
• Utilize forklift for receiving/loading; cargo handling and material movement to deliver materials to customers.
• Document incoming and outgoing materials in the internal tracking system.
