Job summary

SP Industries Inc. in Pocomoke City, MD is seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer to join our team. You will pick, pack and ship various products from inventory in a full-time 1st shift role (Mon-Fri, 7:00 am–3:30 pm).

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED (preferred), basic math and computer literacy, and a reliable work history. Prior warehouse experience is helpful but not required as training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED are preferred.
• Basic math skills and computer literacy are preferred.
• One to three months related experience in a warehouse work setting is preferred, but not necessary.
• Must demonstrate a solid work history and attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Reads and fills customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Assembles and packs customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information and maintains shipping records.
• Prepares parcels for mailing.
• Maintains inventory records.
