Savant Senior Living is seeking a Dishwasher to support the dining area and kitchen in our assisted living facility. You will clean and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, and pans, store cleaned items properly, and assist the culinary team to deliver exceptional meals.

Reporting to the Culinary Director, you will help maintain cleanliness and food safety, stock serving areas, and support residents with a courteous service attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Qualificações

• At least 18 years of age.
• Health Screening, TB Clearance, and Criminal Record Clearance.
• First Aid/ CPR Certification.
• Food Handlers Certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to work days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to clean dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Ensure thorough cleaning and sanitization of all items to meet food safety standards.
• Follow procedures for proper handling, washing, and storing cleaned items.
• Assist culinary team by maintaining a steady supply of clean dishes.
• Support kitchen cleanup by removing trash, sweeping, and maintaining cleanliness.
• Maintain weekly/monthly cleaning schedules for kitchen equipment.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including PPE.
• May assist in cleaning and preparing foods as directed.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor promptly.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow.
• Follow proper handling and disposal of cleaning chemicals.
