Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. seeks a dedicated warehouse associate to perform inventory and distribution tasks in a refrigerated environment. You will unload and load goods, rotate stock, and ensure accurate order fulfillment for shipments to production and customers.

Responsibilities include scanning inventories, completing daily picks, and maintaining a clean workspace while adhering to GMPs and safety standards. Forklift operation and basic math are beneficial for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Production or general work experience preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Certification and/or license may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items to racks, shelves, or bins per predetermined sequence.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization, rotation of stock, and neatness of all coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks/trailers.
• Check all information for accurate shipment and perform quality checks on products before shipping or receiving.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Sort, bundle and fill containers or place in assembled units.
• Place identifying labels on product loads.
• May operate a forklift to load/unload trucks and move inventory.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Follow GMPs and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements; inform QA of issues.
