Job summary

Dairy Farmers of America, Inc. seeks a warehouse associate to perform a variety of tasks including receiving, storing, and distribution of items in a refrigerated environment. You will read schedules, process orders, and ensure accurate handling of inventory while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

The role requires basic math, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team, with forklift operation as part of daily duties. Prior warehouse experience and a high school diploma are preferred.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented warehouse environment experience or ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to perform basic math and inventory counts accurately.
• Clear communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and records.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items to racks, shelves, or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated areas.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock across coolers and warehouse.
• Prepare and distribute materials and orders to production or shipping.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and loading onto trucks.
• Check shipment details and bills of lading for accuracy before shipping/receiving.
• Use computer to scan/enter inventory and records.
• Assist with periodic inventory counts and cycle counts.
• Monitor materials and equipment and report irregularities to supervisor.
• Follow GMPs and safety, sanitation, and quality protocols.
