Job summary

DFA in Texas is seeking Warehouse/Cooler Operators to perform warehouse and inventory tasks in a refrigerated environment, receiving, storing, moving and distributing items. Duties include unloading/loading, following orders, and maintaining accurate records with inventory systems.

High school diploma required; 1–2 years in warehousing; forklift certification preferred. Must work in a team and follow safety, GMP and sanitation rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or License - forklift or related work certifications.
• Able to work in a team environment and contribute to the overall success of the warehouse team.
• Able to perform accurate basic math computations and inventory counts.
• Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Able to perform routine machine adjustments.
• Able to adapt to changing situations and perform tasks as assigned.
• Able to follow directions and work with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, store, move and distribute items in a warehouse or cooler.
• Unload and load trucks, pallets, and cases.
• Read production schedules and orders to determine items to move.
• Record received and shipped items and maintain inventories.
• Operate a forklift if certified.
• Maintain clean, safe working environment and GMP compliance.
• Assist with monthly and year-end inventory counts and cycle counts.
