Job summary

DFA in Minnesota seeks a warehouse associate to perform receiving, stocking, picking, packing and shipping in a refrigerated environment. You will read schedules, track inventory, and maintain a clean, safe workspace with use of a forklift if certified.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 2 years of warehouse, distribution, production, or related experience.
• Certification and/or License – forklift or other related work certifications.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks; move items to racks, shelves or bins.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions or work orders and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare orders for shipping and loading.
• Check shipment documents and product cleanliness/condition before loading.
• Use computer to scan or enter inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly and year-end inventory counts as required.
• Monitor materials and report irregularities to supervisor.
• May operate forklift, loading/unloading trucks and moving inventory.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and optimize space utilization.
• Follow all DFA GMPs and safety/ sanitation requirements.
