The EFDA will support the dentist during procedures, perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations, and provide high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate has dental assistant certification, nitrous oxide and radiology credentials, CPR, and a strong work ethic with excellent communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must have dental assistant certification and nitrous oxide/radiology EFDA credentials.
• CPR certification required.
• Bilingual preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during procedures and prepare instruments.
• Perform expanded functions as allowed by state regulations.
• Maintain patient records and infection control protocols.
• Schedule and manage patient appointments and supplies.
