Job summary

Jobot seeks an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant in Coatesville, PA for a full-time, on-site role. The EFDA-certified clinician will assist with four-handed dentistry, take radiographs, review health histories, and educate patients to promote optimal oral health.

The position offers a competitive salary of $82,500–$88,500 per year, plus a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and opportunities for continuing education and career growth within a collaborative, mission-driven dental team.

Qualifications

• EFDA certification/licensure required.
• Active radiology certification required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Knowledge of dental terminology and restorative procedures helpful.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for treatment and support a positive patient experience.
• Assist providers during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
• Take and process dental radiographs.
• Review health histories and record patient information accurately.
• Perform EFDA duties including placement and contouring of restorative materials under supervision.
• Place sealants and apply fluoride treatments as permitted.
• Provide post-treatment instructions and patient education.
• Prepare operatories and turnover rooms between patients.
• Maintain sterilization and infection control standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot clinical equipment as needed.
• Assist with dental lab case tracking and communication.
• Support inventory and supply management.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development.
