Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET) is hiring an Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) Program Manager for the 28th Bomb Wing at Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota. The role combines technical administration of devices and software with security compliance for frequent HQ changes.

Aircrew depend on EFBs for safety publications; program success requires keeping most publications current. The ideal candidate will manage the Wing EFB program, coordinate across organizations, oversee ForeFlight

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required or ability to obtain.
• Two years IT or device management experience.
• Two years Microsoft 365 experience with SharePoint and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage Wing and Operations Group EFB program per standards.
• Coordinate with AFGSC EFB Program Manager and generate appointment letters.
• Perform maintenance, upgrades, patching, and restoration on EUSA computers.
• Administer EFB program at Wing level in BBMUEM/MDM and manage user accounts.
• Coordinate with officers and squadron EFB Managers to keep publications current.
• Oversee ForeFlight administration and aircrew configuration for worldwide use.
• Maintain WiFi service and coordinate repairs with base ISP.
• Track sustainment costs and inventory EFB equipment.
• Enroll hardware in Device Enrollment Program and decommission obsolete gear.
• Escalate EFB requirements to leadership and monitor technology releases.
• Use Teams EFB site and SharePoint for announcements and training.
• Produce EFB Audit and Sustainment Reports and fulfill Stan Eval duties.
