Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the 13 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience providing legal advice and counsel on legal and policy issues related to equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws, policies and regulations; drafting legal documents and memoranda; and conducting legal research and analysis.
Specialized experience must be directly related to the position being filled and is experience gained after issuance of bar membership.
