  • Responsible for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and providing advice and counsel to senior management officials on conflict management matters.
  • Apply ADR principles, practices, and techniques to resolve workplace disputes; interpret and apply conflict management statutes and regulations to ensure agency compliance; and draft legal documents related to conflict resolution.

Job description

This position is located in the Office of Human Resources, Conflict Management Unit of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) and is responsible for Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) and providing advice and counsel to senior management officials on conflict management matters.

Employees must maintain active bar membership while employed as an attorney with the FDIC.

Specialized Experience:To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the14-grade level or above in the Federal service which includes experience applying Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) principles, practices, and techniques to resolve workplace disputes; interpreting and applying conflict management statutes and regulations to ensure agency compliance; and drafting legal documents related to conflict resolution.
