Job summary

Summa Health - Akron City Campus is seeking an EEG Technologist in the EMU to join a team focused on epilepsy monitoring and diagnostic EEG procedures. This full-time role provides hands-on training under supervision while contributing to patient care across age groups.

The position emphasizes expertise in EEG testing and operation of associated equipment, with CPR/BLS certification and EEG certification/registration preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in health sciences or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Experience in EEG testing and procedures.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• EEG Certification/Registration preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of physical and biological sciences.
• Ability to maintain, calibrate and adjust diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to provide care for patients of all ages and interact with diverse populations.

Summary

Formal Education Required

• Associate's degree in health sciences or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

Experience & Training Required

• Experience in EEG testing and procedures.
• CPR/BLS certification
• EEG Certification/Registration preferred.

• Extensive knowledge of physical and biological sciences

Salary

$27.49/hr - $32.99/hr

The salary range on this job posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or differentials.
