Job summary

El Paso Childrens Hospital Corporation is seeking a Registered Electroencephalographic (EEG) Technologist to prepare and conduct various EEG examinations. Responsibilities include collecting information for test interpretation and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience in a hospital setting, current BLS certification, and must maintain registration as an EEG Technologist. Bilingual candidates in English and Spanish are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience as an EEG technologist, preferably in a hospital setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Must maintain Registered EEG Technologist registration through ABRET.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct various electroencephalographic (EEG) examinations.
• Collect information pertaining to interpretation of EEG tests.
• Use equipment and communicate effectively within and between departments.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and practice standards.

Skills

Effective oral and written communication skills

Effective interpersonal relationship skills

Basic knowledge of electroencephalographic procedures

Ability to read and comprehend English

Bilingual, English and Spanish preferred

Education

Completion of a healthcare program in a clinical area

High School diploma or equivalent
