Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a part-time EEG technologist to perform routine, video, and portable EEG and evoked potential recordings, and to assist physicians with EMGs/NCV. The role includes calibration, montage creation, archiving, and maintaining lab documentation.

The position requires 6 months to 1 year EEG/EP training with 3–4 years EEG/EP experience preferred; CPR certification is expected. Flexibility for varied patient ages and shifts is noted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 6 months to 1 year EEG/EP training.
• 3–4 years EEG/EP experience preferred.
• CPR certification and ABRET-related requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine, video, and portable EEG and evoked potential recordings.
• Assist physicians with EMGs/NCV.
• Prepare montages and calibrations for quality recordings.
• Maintain EEG lab and supplies; document and log data.
• Collaborate on research projects and education of EEG students.
