Job summary

Catholic Health in Town of Babylon is seeking an EEG tech to perform specialized diagnostic procedures and ensure accurate results. The role requires managing patient care throughout the EEG process while adhering to departmental policies.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, completion of a certified END program, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare setting. Proficiency in EEG testing across all ages, including Pediatrics, is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in a hospital or ambulatory setting.
• Proficient with Pediatrics, Adult and Geriatric patients.
• Board Certified (ABRET) or registry eligible.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) and evoke potential studies.
• Manage clinical seizure and/or other medical emergencies as required.
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist them through all phases.
