Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge in all phases of EEG testing.
• Long-term monitoring and neuro ICU experience required.
• Board Certified ABRET or Registry Eligible.

Responsibilities

• Experience performing Electroencephalogram (EEG) and evoked potential studies.
• Recognition of ictal and inter-ictal electrographic patterns.
• Ability to manage clinical seizure and/or other medical emergencies as required.
• Prepares patient for procedures, explains procedures, positions patient, assists at end of procedure.
• May take mobile unit to patient’s room or other setting to perform procedures as appropriate.
• Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes safety and environmental practices.

Education
