Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an EEG Technician (PT) to join our team in Nashville. The role involves preparing patients, performing EEGs, Ambulatory EEGs, BAERs and other tests, while collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have ABRET credentials preferred, CPR within 30 days, and at least one year of EEG experience, with the option to work PRN as needed. We foster a supportive, patient‑centered environment."

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• ABRET REEGT credentials preferred
• ABRET program completion preferred
• One year of EEG tech experience preferred
• Ability to work on a PRN basis

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform Electroencephalograms, Ambulatory EEG’s, BAER’s, VEP and other tests within scope of practice
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for patient populations served
• Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting patient rights and dignity
• Demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for the department
• Operate EEG, EMG and Evoked Potential equipment
• Maintain patient files and reconcile procedure and supply charges
