Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking an EEG Technician (PT) to join our team in Nashville. The role involves preparing patients, performing EEGs, Ambulatory EEGs, BAERs and other tests, while collaborating with physicians and staff to deliver quality patient care.

The ideal candidate will have ABRET credentials preferred, CPR within 30 days, and at least one year of EEG experience, with the option to work PRN as needed. We foster a supportive, patient‑centered environment."

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of employment start date
• ABRET REEGT credentials preferred
• ABRET program completion preferred
• One year of EEG tech experience preferred
• Ability to work on a PRN basis

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and perform Electroencephalograms, Ambulatory EEG’s, BAER’s, VEP and other tests within scope of practice
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to provide appropriate care for patient populations served

Job Summary And Qualifications

The EEG Tech functions as a resource person to physicians and their staff, family members and hospital staff. Prepare patients and performs Electroencephalograms, Ambulatory EEG’s, BAER’s, VEP and other tests within their scope of practice.

• You will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care for patient populations served in his/her department.
• You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients
• You will demonstrate knowledge of equipment and procedures for dept.
• You will operate EEG, EMG and Evoked Potential equipment
• You will maintain patient files
• You will reconcile procedure and supply charges

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• National credentials by the ABRET for REEGT preferred
• Completion of ABRET program preferred
• One year of experience as EEG tech preferred
• Ability to work on a PRN basis
