Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technician (PRN) to join our neuroscience team. You will perform routine and complex EEG testing in the lab and critical care areas, calibrate equipment, and report findings to physicians for interpretation.

The role requires ABRET EEG registry (R.EEG T.), at least 2 years of EEG experience, a high school diploma with science/health coursework, and current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with some post-secondary or college education in a science or health related area.
• ABRET EEG registry is required (R.EEG T.).
• At least 2 years’ EEG experience is required.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and assess physical and emotional needs.
• Explain test procedures to patient and family.
• Identify and correct artifacts before forwarding results to physician.
• Assist in maintaining EEG equipment and supplies.
