Job summary

Harborview Medical Center's EEG & Neurophysiology Lab is seeking a Patient Services Specialist 2 for a 40-hour week on days, onsite. This role supports staff, providers, and patients by managing communications and scheduling.

You will gather patient information, coordinate appointments, and collaborate with the clinic team to ensure satisfaction and quality care. The position offers growth within UW Medicine and Harborview's epilepsy and neurology services.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• One year of healthcare, administrative, or customer service experience, or an equivalent combination of education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff, providers, and patients with efficient internal and external communications, including phone answering and triaging.
• Schedule provider and ancillary service appointments.
• Obtain patient demographic, financial, and clinical information.
• Partner with clinic team to prioritize patient satisfaction and care delivery.
• Other duties as requested.
