Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to perform EEGs and related studies, while adhering to policy and safety guidelines. You will document results and provide explanations to patients, working under supervision and within your training scope.

The role emphasizes independent EEG experience, with multiple shift options and a sign-on bonus plus relocation assistance for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Previous independent EEG tech experience required.
• Able to explain tests and procedures to patients.

Responsibilities

• Cleans and disinfects EEG equipment and maintains infection control.
• Performs EEGs/LTMs and documents data in patient records.
• Explains procedures to patients to obtain optimal results.
• Troubleshoots equipment and arranges repairs as needed.
• Conducts various neurodiagnostic tests within competence.
