Job summary

Merlin Entertainments in Orlando is seeking an Edutainment Host to create unforgettable guest experiences through interactive storytelling, entertainment, and exceptional service. You’ll guide guests through a world of famous figures, support multiple guest-facing areas, and participate in cross-training across experiences like Wax Hands and Special Events.

Candidates must be 18+ and able to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak periods.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1 year experience in attractions, entertainment, or customer service preferred.
• Energetic, friendly personality.
• Excellent communication, listening, and motivational skills.
• Able to work in loud/noise environments.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.

We're seeking energetic, outgoing, and guest-focused individuals to join our team as Edutainment Hosts. In this role, you'll engage guests through interactive experiences, storytelling, entertainment, and exceptional service while helping create memorable moments throughout the attraction.

Every shift is an opportunity to inspire, entertain, and ensure our guests have an amazing experience in a fun, safe, and immersive environment.

As an Edutainment Host, you'll guide guests through a world of famous fun while supporting multiple guest-facing areas throughout Madame Tussauds Orlando. You'll help bring the attraction to life through engaging interactions, attraction knowledge, and outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Create engaging, entertaining, and educational guest experiences.
• Welcome guests with enthusiasm and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Bring energy and excitement to attraction experiences while maintaining the Madame Tussauds brand.
• Interact with guests of all ages in a fun, professional, and memorable manner.
• Encourage guest participation and help create share-worthy moments.
• Assist with guest flow, queue management, and attraction operations while maintaining a magical guest experience.
• Properly use and care for attraction props, costumes, equipment, and themed elements.
• Ensure wax figures, exhibits, and attraction assets are treated with care and respect while encouraging guests to do the same.
• Utilize radios and communication tools appropriately and professionally.
• Assist with special events, group visits, and other guest engagement activities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready environments.
• Follow all operational, health, safety, and security procedures.
• Quickly and professionally address guest questions, concerns, and unexpected situations.
• Work collaboratively with leadership and fellow team members to deliver a world-class guest experience.

About You

• Passionate about guest service, entertainment, and creating memorable experiences.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive team player who enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Solutions-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Previous experience in attractions, entertainment, hospitality, retail, tourism, or customer service preferred.
• Comfortable learning attraction information and sharing it with guests.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak operating periods.
• Able to remain active and work on your feet for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
