Zen Educate Inc. in Chicago is seeking an Educator Recruitment Associate to own the applicant journey from qualification to onboarding, placing top paraprofessionals and substitute teachers with schools that need them.

This role involves calling educators, interviewing, and matching to roles that fit preferences and school needs, while working in a hybrid environment with 2 days WFH and 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

• Backgrounds in customer service, recruitment, education, acting/theatre, or fast-paced startups are highly transferable.
• Proactive daily outreach and comfort speaking to a high volume of people is essential.
• Goal-oriented and competitive with targets.
• Organized, independent, and able to manage a large educator pipeline.
• Tech-savvy and willing to adopt new tools and AI.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and interview applicants by phone to assess suitability for open roles.
• Match candidates to the right role based on preferences and school needs.
• Build value and excitement about Zen Educate and the platform.
• Guide candidates through onboarding and document collection.
