Job summary

YMCA Palmview OSHC is recruiting energetic Educators to supervise children before and after school and during vacation care. You will help create a safe, fun and inclusive space, guiding activities that support social learning and creativity.

Ideal candidates hold or study towards Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, with First Aid/CPR and a paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain. The role is casual and community‑minded.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• First Aid and CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to create a safe and inclusive environment for all children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with Vacation Care activities.
• Create a welcoming space where all children feel safe and supported.
• Promote wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Palmview Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you'll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you'll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
