Job summary

YMCA Logan Village OSHC is hiring energetic Educators to supervise and engage primary-aged children before and after school, and during vacation care. You’ll help create a safe, inclusive space with a mix of structured and play-based activities.

Hold or study towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services; you must have First Aid/ CPR and Blue Card or willingness to obtain. We offer flexible shifts and a not-for-profit culture with coaching and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity.
• Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to a safe, inclusive environment for all children.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with a variety of hands‑on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Logan VillageOutside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children’s social learning and creativity.
