Job summary

Horace Mann is seeking an Exclusive Agent to lead an agency within a defined territory and operate on a 1099 compensation model. You will work with educators, offering a comprehensive multiline product portfolio and leveraging cutting-edge technology to grow your client base.

As part of Horace Mann, you will receive a dedicated service representative, performance incentives, and ongoing training to expand your business across the territory.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and business management skills to build and manage your agency.
• 2-5 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry (preferred).
• Resident State General Lines Insurance Licenses: Life and Health Insurance License; Property and Casualty Insurance License. Ability to obtain FINRA Series 6 & 63 licenses (if applicable in your region).

• Focus on market access and building strong relationships with clients.
